Wiwingti with some members of the Group: united backyard cutters
have decided to make an exclusive sword for the group.
Only 18 katana have been made (with bo-hi and without bo-hi)
and 4 wakizashi
here are the specs.
Hand forged
1070 steel w/ hamon Legacy series model
-28.5" nagasa
-11" tsuka
-Dragonfly/Kiyomaro geometry with or without bo-hi
-Cotton ito. Teal green
-custom UBC tsuba cut from steel or cast in brass
-black same'
-fuchigashira from dragonfly/kiyomaro model
-nickel plated dragon menuki
-nickel plated and/or nickel-silver seppa, habaki, nutsodome.
-black textured saya
because of an error from the forge some have had the saya colored Black and gold.,
but because of the beauty of it, members that have had them that color have kept it.
